May 16-17, 2009 - Caramoan Islands is probably the hottest place to be this summer.I have been there since 2006 but keeps on coming back every year because of its majestic beauty and nature's wonders.Before there were no restrictions on which islands you prefer to land, unlike on my recent visit the locals should have to ask permission to the caretakers (government armed men)of Sabitang Laya Islands to be able to have some pictures at the shores.Luckily we were granted.
But in other islands like, Hunongan Cove and the famous Gota Beach we were not even given a chance because of the ongoing filming of Survivor-Israel.So, we have to be contented taking pictures afar.But still,its not a bad hair day at all.
While Caramoan Islands draws much attention on foreign tourists which somehow brings development to this second class municipality,the locals should be given equal access to its own vast nature's wonders like their foreign counterparts.Caramoan as God's gifts should not be limited to those with money.
